Maurice, nicknamed C-toe (pronounced “Cito” short for cameltoe) because, as he will tell you, if he gets anywhere near a pussy, he is right up in there. Dreadlocked, witty, masculine, he has been Ramsey’s friend ever since they were the only two black kids in high school. Birds of a feather flock together. They endured, and overcame, the same bullying. As a result, they have the unspoken bond of brothers in arms. These days, Maurice grinds out a living in the seedy world of standup comedy. It’s not an easy life, but it allows him to travel all over the eastern seaboard with a perfect alibi. He is also Ramsey’s right hand man, and he is the only person Ramsey fully entrusts to conduct his business. Hello? It’s me. Are we still on? You are. I’m dealing with some stuff here, you’re gonna have to handle it. Ok, but you know they won’t be happy. These guys are old school, they want to talk to the top banana.
