Leblanc is still following PQ. She watched as he stopped for the abandoned cab driver. She listened on her radio as the reports came in, explaining that the head of the Brossard chapter of the Tridents motorcycle club had been run down by that same stolen taxi. Once again, she is certain that it is more than a coincidence. Now she is following him from the station. She watches as PQ collects his friend from the sidewalk in front of a darkened schoolhouse. She follows them until PQ drops Ramsey at his car, in an empty parking lot downtown. Again she must choose. She sticks with her gut and follows PQ. She texts her supervisor “Lets meet in the morning. I think they were involved in this killing. I also think they might be using the schoolhouses. Let’s find out who we can speak to at the school board.”
