George Washington Begovic, a DEA agent, sits on top of a nearby building, hidden from view. Raised in Bowling Green Kentucky by his Bosnian Muslim father, he is as true an American patriot as you will ever encounter. His father escaped religious persecution in Yugoslavia in the late 60s when it was still under Soviet control, and when he settled into his new home in America, he swore a blood oath to be loyal to the country that had given him a second chance. He named his son after the first president, and raised him to defend his country. George Washington Begovic took his father’s lessons to heart, perhaps even a bit too much. After excelling at the academy in QUANTICO, his over zealous views and actions have often worked against his own advancement, and he now finds himself stationed at the offices in Burlington Vermont. Not exactly the fast track. Now he is staked out, watching the three men meet on the dock. He is watching them through the scope of a Barrett M98 sniper rifle which he is authorized to carry.
